Ingapirca is the largest site of inca ruins in Ecuador.  The stones of the walls were fashioned to fit perfectly together.  The Inca road, dating back about 500 years, travels from Quito, Ecuador down south all the way through Peru into Chile and Argentina.  It is at least  20,000 miles long.  On this day of our visit, the weather was cloudy and rainy.  However, we had a fantastic tour and enjoyed the entire day.

During our visit to the Ingapirca Ruins, there was a bicycle race.  Immediately after we arrived, the road access was blocked and as travelers approached, the line of vehicles had to wait until Bikers passed through that area.
